ABOUT US

Hope Full Life Center was created to help struggling people fill basic needs so they have a fighting chance to reach their full potential.

The charity got its start in 2010 with a food assistance program, christened Helping Harvest. The program serves people living below USDA guidelines for poverty. Our customers are able to select groceries and make a small donation for purchases to support the store. Helping Harvest's goal is to fill in the gaps the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) does not cover and provide reprieve from full retail prices for additional food and other necessities.

With more than 350 families currently on its membership rolls, Helping Harvest has helped to feed more than 1,000 people in Ravena and the surrounding communities.

In 2014, the Center opened the Linda Civill Community Garden, named after a long-time volunteer who loved to garden. Anyone in the community is welcome to use a garden bed for free, and many of the tools and supplies you need to garden are provided.

Get involved and be a part of new things to come. We depend on volunteers and could use your mind, muscles and enthusiasm!

Incorporated as a not-for-profit in 2012, Hope Full Life Center is affiliated with Abounding Love Christian Fellowship, a non-denominational church, also located in Faith Plaza in Ravena. We are God-inspired and continue to seek His guidance for our direction and growth.
