Leadership Bios
Rebecca Marion Flach, Executive Director
Rebecca has managed all day-to-day aspects of the community development not-for-profit and its various programs since 2013.
​
Rebecca was formerly Vice President of Membership and Communication at the Retail Council of New York State. She oversaw all communication to support the Council’s government relations, sales and marketing and membership functions. She was also charged with the development of new membership benefits and services for the Council, and educational programming for the association’s 5,000 member stores.

Prior to joining the Council, Rebecca was a Senior Account Executive in the Albany office of Eric Mower and Associates, an interdisciplinary marketing and communication firm. She was also employed by the Onondaga Convention Center Complex in Syracuse, N.Y. as an Account Executive in the Sales and Marketing Department.
Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the State University of New York College at Fredonia and a master’s degree in public relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
Active in her profession and the community, Rebecca is Vice President of Justice for Orphans, a charity that encourages the Church to rally for the cause of the fatherless. She is also secretary and chair of the Economic Development Advisory Committee for the RCS Community Business Association.

In February 2017 Rebecca was honored with the George Burton Award for volunteer service by the Empire State Society of Association Executives. She served on the association's board since 2011 and was its Treasurer in 2015 and 2016.
She and her husband, Aaron, are the proud parents of three beautiful children.
