We need you! Volunteer for Service Saturday

Hope Full Life Center accomplishes amazing things with the help of volunteers!

Our charity runs three stores - Helping Harvest, a food assistance program for the needy; Gracefully Chic Boutique and Peace of Home, thrift stores that sell gently used clothing and home furnishings; and Cross Culture Market, an international Fair Trade gift store.

In a typical day at Helping Harvest volunteers help us sort food in our processing center, take it by cart into the store, price it, stock in on the shelves and much more.

At Gracefully Chic Boutique and Peace of Home volunteers help us sort through mounds of donations. What's in season is promptly cleaned, steamed, priced and put onto the store shelves and racks. The rest is sorted and stored for later use.

Are you good with a camera? Love spreadsheets? Cross Culture Market needs devoted volunteers with professional skill sets in addition to folks who are willing to help us clean the store, price merchandise and take on other daily tasks.

Whew...I became tired just writing about all the things we have to do and that's why we need your help! Many hands make light work and Service Saturdays is a great way to lend us a hand, make a difference in your community and have some fun too!

Join us the first Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to noon at Abounding Love Christian Fellowship (our first Service Saturday will be Saturday, Oct. 4). Hope Full Life Center and its programs are affiliated with this church located next to CVS. We'll give you some coffee or tea to wake you up and put you to work! We hope to see you soon.
