Help us care for struggling RCS families this holiday season
Hope Full Life Center’s annual Blessing Box Project returns starting Black Friday, Nov. 28, bringing holiday kindness and practical support to vulnerable families in Ravena–Coeymans–Selkirk. Now in its eighth year, the project will once again provide free Blessing Boxes to households served through our Helping Harvest food assistance program.
Each Blessing Box is filled with essential household items — paper products, cleaning supplies, and a selection of foods — to help lighten the financial burden many families face at the end of the year.

“Everyone needs these items, but much of what we add to the Blessing Boxes can't be purchased with SNAP benefits,” said Executive Director Rebecca Flach. “Families often struggle to afford basics like toilet paper, dish soap and laundry detergent. The Blessing Boxes help fill that gap while adding a little festive cheer with seasonal foods and grocery staples.”
Thanks to $30 donations from caring community members, we purchase the supplies, assemble the boxes, and distribute them directly to local families. This year we're grateful for the support of TCI of NY, LLC and the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation. Last year, 75 households received Blessing Boxes the week before Christmas.
