Helping Harvest, our community food assistance program, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this spring—and we want to give back to the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk community in a meaningful way! We're partnering with our friends at Abounding Love Christian Fellowship and City Church to launch 15 Acts of Kindness for 15 Years of Impact.

At Hope Full Life Center, we’re proud to bridge the gap between local food pantries and for-profit grocery stores, giving vulnerable families access to affordable, nutritious food. Over the past 15 years, we've sent home more than $1.8 million worth of groceries to families in need, helping ensure that more than 8,000 people have had enough to eat. That’s a lot to celebrate!
But this anniversary isn't just about looking back—it's about stepping out. Through our 15 Acts of Kindness, our team will be engaging with the community in new ways to spread positivity and lend a helping hand.
Celebrate With Us!
To wrap up our 15 Acts of Kindness that will take place from mid-May to mid-June, we’re hosting a community ice cream social on Friday, June 20, from noon to 4 PM. Join us for free ice cream, a five-minute tour of Helping Harvest, and a photo showcase of all the service projects we've completed. It's our way of saying thank you!
Here’s How You Can Get Involved:
1. Suggest a Kindness Project
We’re looking for small-scale service opportunities focused on children, senior citizens, veterans and at other local charities. Ideal projects should take 1–3 hours and require 2–5 volunteers. You’ll need to provide materials, but our team will arrive ready with gloves and common tools.

2. Volunteer With Us
The 15 Acts of Kindness will challenge our team—and we’d love your help! Join us in lifting up a neighbor and experience the joy of giving back.

3. Make a Donation
Hope Full Life Center, which operates Helping Harvest, is a small nonprofit with a big heart—and a small budget. A gift of $15 for 15 Years of Service will help us continue making an impact for the next 15 years. Donate to our GoFundMe campaign here.
4. Save the Date!
Mark your calendar for the Ice Cream Social on Friday, June 20, from noon to 6 PM. Come celebrate with us and show your support!
We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with you. Let’s make our 15th year the most impactful one yet!

Hiring for DS leadership roles requires different criteria. Experience managing teams, setting strategy, and aligning with business paramedic agency goals matters more than hands-on coding ability. Leadership must scale impact, not just build models.
